Poster Guidelines

Posters must be sponsored by a Bethel department. The sponsoring organization takes complete responsibility for supervision and the event's appropriateness to the Bethel community. The following offices will stamp and approve the appropriate posters:
- Campus Ministries for posters regarding ministry-related events or activities not taking place at a church or at Bethel, ext. 6372.
- Student Life for posters regarding college-sponsored events that include the entire Bethel community, ext. 6300.
- Church Ministries for posters advertising a church or an event taking place at a church, ext. 6301.
- Career Services for posters regarding employment recruiters, internships, or camps, ext. 6460.
- Bethel Student Association for posters advertising college-sponsored events pertaining to students. (Includes all Clubs and Organizations)
- Maximum size: 17 x 22 inches.
- Placement: Posters may only be placed on designated walls. The bottom of a poster must not be higher than six feet from the floor, and side walls may not be used.
- Tape: You may use wide packing tape and duct tape for posters, masking or scotch tape for paper. You may not use double stick tape, electrical tape, or putty.
- Maximum length of time of posting: two weeks with the following exceptions--professional posters from off-campus recruiting events supporting students (job, internship, and education fairs) and church posters.
- Maximum number of posters: There are three walls designated for off-campus, non-sponsored events (coffeehouses, conferences, concerts, speakers, etc.); nine walls designated for Bethel-sponsored events; and one wall designated for church services and events. Exception: Major campus-wide events for which BSA may have up to 20 additional 8 1/2" x 11" posters for two to three days in advance of the event. These additional posters may be posted anywhere except on glass. (Examples of exceptions would be BSA elections, Nikdag, Gadkin, Easter Egg Hunt, and all-school banquets)

- Advertising in Market Square and the DC must be approved by the Director of Food Service. Advertising in Bethel housing must be approved by the appropriate resident director.

PO Table Guidelines
To secure approval, space must be reserved from the appropriate office:
- BSA for student-sponsored events and activities.
- Campus Ministries for ministry-related activities, ext. 6372.
- Student Life for college-sponsored events that include the entire Bethel community, ext. 6300.
- Career Services for recruiters of employment, internships, and camps, ext. 6460.
Note: There is a limit of one table per presentation and a limit of four tables at any one time.
