Tiny Fingers of Minnesota was founded by Dana Johnson. Dana has a Master's
degree in Deaf Education and taught in the public school system for several
years before having children and choosing to leave the field. She realized
how beneficial the use of signing was with her first child and began
teaching classes to families with young children. Research shows that
babies that use sign have 10-12 points higher IQ's as adults, have less
frustration, are better able to communicate with their caregivers and become
more involved in daily activities to name a few.
