Student Body President
The Student Body President oversees all elements and facets of BSA, serves as a liaison between BSA and Bethel administration, and ensures accountability amidst the members of BSA. The President is elected by the student body in conjunction with a Vice-President of his/her choice. Vision, leadership/management capabilities, problem solving skills, organizational skills, ability to network are needed. Most importantly a commitment to the needs of the student community and to the goals of Bethel University.

Hometown: Litchfield, MN
Interests: I really enjoy being
outdoors! Camping, boating, hunting, and white water rafting are some
of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy being immersed in a
different culture, pulling pranks, and getting to know people. I am
passionate about medical missions and hope to one day serve God in this
capacity.

Merky Witzke
Student-Body Vice-President
The Vice-President is the right hand person of the Student Body President, oversees the legislative branch of BSA, and acts to take some of the load off the President's shoulders by being his/her shadow and taking delegation. Vision, leadership/management capabilities, problem solving skills, organizational skills, ability to network are needed. Most importantly a commitment to the needs of the student community and to the goals of Bethel University. The Vice-President also oversees the clubs and organizations sponsored by the BSA.

Interests:
I absolutely love doing anything and everything with my friends. I'm a
big fan of handmade gifts and love to scrapbook. I was blessed with a
loving family who can make even the worst day turn around
for the better. I'm a sucker for puppies! I love getting to know new people and developing
new relationships that will continue to grow. I love anything to do
with biology and I love kids and hope to one day honor His plan for me
and become a high school science teacher.
