The Student Body President oversees all elements and facets of BSA, serves as a liaison between BSA and Bethel administration, and ensures accountability amidst the members of BSA. The President is elected by the student body in conjunction with a Vice-President of his/her choice. Vision, leadership/management capabilities, problem solving skills, organizational skills, ability to network are needed. Most importantly a commitment to the needs of the student community and to the goals of Bethel University.

The Vice-President is the right hand person of the Student Body President, oversees the legislative branch of BSA, and acts to take some of the load off the President's shoulders by being his/her shadow and taking delegation. Vision, leadership/management capabilities, problem solving skills, organizational skills, ability to network are needed. Most importantly a commitment to the needs of the student community and to the goals of Bethel University. The Vice-President also oversees the clubs and organizations sponsored by the BSA.
